Novena Palms Motel

Although from the front on Nudgee Road, this place didn’t look much, once around the back we found a pleasant-looking modern building, a small pool and a car park. Despite its proximity to Brisbane airport, it was peaceful and quiet. The rooms were spacious, well equipped and immaculately clean. Rooms have either a terrace or balcony and a fridge. The lady that checked us in, perhaps the owner, was delightful. Although there isn’t anywhere to eating in walking distance, there plenty of places within a 10 min drive. Great place to stay before or after picking up a camper van from the Apollo/Maui/Britz depot about 200 metres away.

It was a lovely and comfortable stay in a good location near to the airport and city centre. The pool was a great bonus and in great condition. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. Really good value. The king bed was comfortable with lots of pillow options so you could find something that would suit anyone. There was shampoo, conditioner and shower gel provided and a good pressure shower head. Everything was clean, neat and tidy. The aircon worked fantastic. The tv was easy to use and a good size. Would be great for a single person or couples travelling around Brisbane. I had a great meal at Piccolis restaurant nearby and it was a $30 uber to South Bank Beach.

Cheap for Brisbane for the night and really convenient to the airport. Bed was comfy, location was quiet, shower was hot - would stay again no issues! Felt very safe as the hotel is actually tucked around the back.

Very clear instructions on how to obtain the room key as I arrived after 10.00pm. The bed and pillows was very comfortable. Room very clean. Toiletries was in plentiful supply as were tea and coffee.

I was surprised that the mattresses were good quality foam or latex mattresses. The bathroom was squeaky clean, I have a fear of seeing dirty bathrooms. Enough toilet paper, thank you. Very smart to have some plates and dishes available for eating.
